Three Years Running: Pristine Says Thank You
Some wins are worth pausing to say thank you for.
On June 19, 2026, Pristine Home Care gathered with caregivers, office staff, community partners, and local leaders to mark our 2026 Gold Best Home Care win in the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Philly Favorites, our third year in a row taking the top spot. It wasn’t really a night about trophies. It was a chance to thank the people who made three years of trust possible.
A Recognition We Didn't Expect
The night held one more surprise: two awards we weren’t expecting, and didn’t ask for.
The City of Bethlehem presented Pristine with an official certificate, signed by Mayor J. William Reynolds, recognizing the agency “as a leader in providing compassionate, personalized home care services that empower seniors and individuals to maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life,” and noting Pristine’s new Lehigh Valley office on Union Boulevard in Allentown as “strengthening its presence in our region.“
Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro also awarded Pristine Home Care, thanking the team for its “tireless work to provide comfort and care for our older Pennsylvanians” and describing Pristine’s approach as “person-focused, allowing our aging neighbors to maintain their dignity and autonomy.”
We’re so thankful for the recognition of such supportive leaders of our community, but we cannot thank our Pristine team and clients enough.
It’s a byproduct of just trying to show up well, day after day, for the families who trust us. If anything, it’s motivation to keep doing that quietly and consistently across the Lehigh Valley, the same way we’ve done in our great Philadelphia.
From the Pristine Founders
Co-founders and brothers, Josh and Dr. Keith George spoke that evening, reflecting on what the third gold, and everyone who helped earn it, really means to them.
Josh took things back to where Pristine actually started: not a boardroom, but a basement.
"We started this company about 10 years ago from the basement of my parents' home. Thank you, mom, for not charging us rent... We took a vision that started in our home to being a preferred home care provider in Philadelphia. The obvious next step for us was to bring what we created in Philadelphia to the Lehigh Valley. We don't want to expand to this area to sell a product, rather educate the communities about the services that are available to them."
Dr. Keith George connected the win back to the people who made it possible, and to the family standards that built Pristine in the first place.
"We've established a consistent history of providing high quality care, which led us to win Philly's favorite home care three years in a row... This isn't gonna slow us down. We want to keep expanding, keep achieving great things, and we can't do that without the help of every single one of you guys. This is your award as much as it is ours."
Both speeches struck the same note the evening did: gratitude for Philadelphia, and quiet excitement about what’s ahead in Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton (A.B.E).
Bringing That Same Standard to the Lehigh Valley
Three years of Gold in Philly Favorites didn’t happen by accident.
It happened because families kept voting for the agency that showed up with companionship, advocacy, and genuine human connection. Now, Pristine is trying to earn that same trust north, building real roots across Allentown and the wider A.B.E community, not just adding a service area on a map.
If you’re a family in Bethlehem, Easton, or anywhere across the Lehigh Valley wondering whether a Philly-grown home care agency can feel local, we hope this is a sign we’re trying.
